Aerospace technology leader moving global headquarters to Bohemia

|

Aerospace technology leader North Atlantic Industries, Inc. is moving its global headquarters to a 90,000-square-foot facility in Bohemia this spring.

NAI, a leading provider of embedded electronics and computing for the world’s most demanding military, industrial and commercial aerospace industries, plans to move to the Bohemia facility by June, the company said.

The facility, which represents an 80% increase in the company’s physical presence in New York state, will provide additional space for the expansion of NAI’s engineering, production, test and quality and assembly and manufacturing operations.

It will also permit these functions to be housed under one roof, together with sales and marketing, human resources, IT and the NAI’s leadership team.

“We recognize that aerospace is a key sector in our economy, and we are pleased that North Atlantic Industries has decided to grow their business here in Islip,” said John Walser, Executive Director, Town of Islip Industrial Development Agency.

NAI representative said a partnership with the town’s Industrial Development Agency and Empire State Development enabled NAI to double down on its commitment to growth in the region.

“The Town of Islip IDA can help businesses remain and grow, here in Islip. The NAI expansion is a shining example of that,” Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter said.

“Our uniquely modular approach has caught the attention of industry leaders,” said Lino Massafra, vice president of sales and marketing. “Now with the space to add resources, our customers will be amazed at the breadth and scale of problems that can be solved with our versatile COSA® (Configurable Open Systems Architecture™) approach.”

NAI’s growth has the company looking for talent – including qualified undergraduate and graduate student interns – to join its team. Click here to learn about employment opportunities at NAI.
