JT’s Farmhouse in Bayport and JT’s On the Bay in Blue Point re-open for Memorial Day weekend

|

Summer in Bayport-Blue Point officially arrives Friday when JT’s On the Bay and JT’s Farmhouse turn the lights back on and get back to putting smiles on faces and food and drink in bellies.

Closed since March 16, the two eateries look to roar back in a big way from their two-month COVID-19 hiatus. And the timing couldn’t be better than Memorial Day weekend.

Check out both menus below.

At JT’s Farmhouse, owner Justin Tempelman and chef Shane LeBlanc are rolling out “JT’s Farmhouse Quarantine Kitchen.” The authentic barbecue menu comes ablaze with the “Motha Clucka” sandwich, a mash-up of pulled chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, onions, pickles and BBQ aioli.

Tempelman said to also look out for the Backyard Burger — it comes with a slab of American cheese, umami onions, a pickle and “comeback sauce.”

“People are falling in love with this burger,” Tempelman boasted.

Patrons will also be able to pick up growlers of beer to go and signature Farmhouse mixed drinks in special screw-top drink bottles.

Located at 291 Bayport Ave., JT’s Farmhouse will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 4 to 8 p.m. The restaurant will take online orders at jtsfarmhousebayport.com and phone-in requests at 631.472.4100 — both for curbside pick-up. You can get your order delivered via Door Dash.

JT’s On the Bay will be open noon to 9 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

“This place represents summer to a lot of people,” Tempelman said. “This is the neighborhood’s clubhouse for the summer. We’ll be offering our greatest hits menu. We’ll be doing happy hour all day, with food and drink specials.”

Just like at the Farmouse, JT’s on the Bay will take orders online at jtsonthebay.com and over the phone at 631.363.2205.

Dan Donnelly, as he does every Friday during the summer, will be performing outside at JT’s on the Bay, starting at 5 p.m.

“We’re just super happy to be back,” Tempelman said. “We want to be here for the neighborhood. Bayport-Blue Point supports local like no other neighborhood that I know.”

Tempelman’s third restaurant, JT’s Café on Montauk Highway in Blue Point, has been back open for two weeks. The bar and eatery is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for breakfast and lunch, and 4 to 8 p.m. for dinner.
