Class fo 2020 Senior Kayley Gross told News12 that “whether we get a graduation or not, even this just means so much because we don’t know what to expect anymore.”

Like all school districts across the state, Connetquot schools have been closed since March 13 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The district, which also dropped off congratulatory lawn signs for the seniors, has not yet re-scheduled a graduation ceremony.

“We just want to give them a little something,” Moran told News12. “It’s not going to make up for the things they’ve lost, but they deserve it.”
