The Shed in West Sayville announces that it’s now open on Mondays

|

Mondays are about to become a lot more tolerable in West Sayville.

That’s because starting this Monday — Martin Luther King Jr. Day — The Shed restaurant will be open every Monday, meaning the popular new eatery will now serve brunch and dinner each day of the week.

It’s been the plan all along, ever since The Shed opened first swung its doors open for business on Nov. 19. But just to make it official, the restaurant made the announcement this week.

Owner John Tunney said the Greater Sayville community has embraced The Shed.

“We have been blown away by the incredibly warm reception from our new friends in the Sayville area,” he said. “Our guests are at the center of every decision we make, and the wonderful people in these South Shore communities have proven to us that Sayville was the right choice for the start of The Shed’s expansion.”

In July, Tunney purchased the converted Main Street mansion formerly occupied by the Bluestone Tavern. He also operates The Shed in Huntington.

“We’ve already been a part of so many memories with everyone here, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come,” he said.

The Shed in West Sayville opens at 10 a.m. on weekdays and at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Click here to check out their brunch, dinner and drink menus.
