The sexy pottery wheel scene — and just about everything else that is so romantically and tragically splendid about the 1990 blockbuster movie “Ghost” — comes to life on stage tonight at CM Performing Arts Center’s premiere of “Ghost the Musical.”

Local actors Bobby Peterson and Laura Laureano — romantic partners on stage and off — sizzle as Sam Wheat (the role Patrick Swayze played in the movie) and Molly Jensen (Demi Moore).
Crystal Fauntleroy plays the part of Oda Mae Brown, the clairaudience-gifted woman played by Whoopi Goldberg on the big screen. Briggs Houston is the villain Carl Bruner. The production is directed by Patrick Grossman.
