She may have lost out on the half-million-dollar grand prize, but “Big Brother” fan favorite Nicole Anthony of Bohemia nevertheless heads back to Long Island $25,000 richer.

The Sayville Leeway School preschool aide finished third in Season 21 of CBS’ mega-popular reality game show, it was revealed Wednesday night during the live broadcast of the season finale. Anthony, whose big heart and affection for all things unicorn garnered her huge fan support from across the globe, earned the viewers vote for America’s Favorite Houseguest.

To win the $25,000 prize, Anthony received over one million votes from viewers at home.

One of those votes came from Colleen Franco, a die-hard “Big Brother” fan from Manorville who has hunkered down faithfully for each of the show’s 21 seasons.

“Nicole was the best choice for America’s Favorite Houseguest because she played with integrity and was true to herself,” Franco said. “As she pointed out in the finale, she went into the season as a caterpillar and blossomed into a butterfly during those 99 days.

“Nicole is a happy-go-lucky unicorn. Her quick wit and one-liners made houseguests laugh,” she added.

The tremendous fan support has been quite humbling for Anthony, a 2013 Connetquot High School graduate.

“Wow. It is something,” she told Entertainment Weekly after learning she earned the America’s Favorite Houseguest prize. “I can’t even wrap my brain around it. I learned from this experience how to love myself, so to also feel that love from other people, it’s just — it’s tremendous.”
