Today, we take a peek at the past for a then-and-now photo comparison of spots across Blue Point.
The historic photos are from the turn of the century, the 1940s and more. They all appear in the late local historian Gene Horton’s 1982 book, “Blue Point Remembered,” which is available at the Bayport-Blue Point Library, as well as other Suffolk County libraries.
Most of the photos are dated. The modern-day photos were taken by us, except where noted.
