Bevy of 2019 Sayville HS grads set to play DI and DII college sports next month

At least 11 members of Sayville High School’s Class of 2019 are preparing to head off to college next month armed with scholarships to play NCAA Division I and II sports.

Here’s a list of the standout student-athletes and the colleges they are expected to attend.

Olivia Boucher committed to play DII soccer at the College of St. Rose.

Emily Manning, goalie, is set to play DI lacrosse at Binghamton University.

 

Megan Romano signed with Sacred Heart DI swimming and diving.

 

Madison Mergl is set to play DII lacrosse at the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina.

 

Jackson Von Eshen signed to play DII lacrosse at Newberry College in South Carolina.

 

Aidan Kaler is set to play DI football at Stony Brook University.

 

Nick Cannetti is headed south to play DII lacrosse at Florida Tech.

 

Tim Kanaley is set to compete on Southern Connecticut State University’s swim team.

 

Haille Ross is set play for Molloy College in DII lacrosse.

 

Megan Donnelly is set to compete for Bryant University in DI swimming.

 

Hannah Niggemeier is set to play DII tennis at Molloy College.
