The Burtons — Michelle and Steve, and their adorable little pooch Teddy — couldn’t be happier with the new home for their boutique interior design firm, Michelle Burton Interiors Kitchen & Home, in Sayville.
“We have a corner lot, and we’re in a bigger space,” Michelle Burton said Saturday during a grand opening celebration at her shop, now located at the corner of Railroad Avenue and Center Street in Sayville. The business, which started in 2009, moved from a storefront on the west end of Main St. in Sayville.
“And I get to hang out in this beautiful space,” Michelle Burton added, referring to a room filled with eye-catching kitchen and home design options.
Located at 76 Railroad Ave., Michelle Burton Interiors is open Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Among the guests who participated in the grand opening’s ribbon cutting ceremony were Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce President Eileen Tyznar, the chamber’s 2nd Vice President Ron Trotta, chamber board member Chris Olsen, Islip Town Councilman John Cochrane Jr. and representatives for Islip Town Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen and Suffolk County Legislator William J.Lindsay III.
