It just may be perfect plan to get up to speed on the “Toy Story” saga.
First, over the next three weeks, use a streaming service at home to bang out the first two “Toy Story” movies, which were released in 1995 and 1999. Amazon Prime Video is one alternative.
Then, on July 8, grab some beach chairs, pack a picnic and venture out to The Common Ground at Rotary Park in Sayville to watch “Toy Story 3” at Monday Night at the Movies by Kay Cameron Jewelers.
And finally, after the crowds have died down a bit, drop in at the Sayville Cinemas to see “Toy Story 4.”
The park’s free “Toy Story 3” showing will begin at sunset, or about 8 p.m. It’s one of two Disney flicks The Common Ground will show for free this summer.
The other is “Incredibles 2” on Aug. 19 at sunset, or 7:45 p.m.
