They’re exactly what any “Game of Thrones” fan with a sweet tooth would die for.
Dragon eggs. Better yet, delightfully delicious chocolate ones from Sayville Chocolatier.
To commemorate the final season of the wildly popular HBO series, the Main Street sweets shop has been selling hollow chocolate replicas of the fossilized shells that hatched the program’s three baby dragons: Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion.

“They’re just big fans of the show. I had one lady who bought four of them for Easter. Everyone in her family loves the show,” Chocolatier manager Kate Verbarg said of the customers. “I advertised them a week before Easter, and I really wasn’t able to put any out for display because there were so many orders.”
While it’s been difficult to keep them in stock, Verbarg said the shop continues to accept orders for the chocolate eggs, with a turnaround time of a day or so. The jumbo size goes for $24.99 (the shop has sold more than 40 of these) and the (not-so) mini size is $6.99.
Customers Pick the Color
“We can do any color you want. I’ve done pink. I’ve done gold. I’ve done red, white and green,” Verbarg said. “A woman wanted a blue egg for a baby shower. The baby shower’s theme is ‘Game of Thrones,’ and I’m assuming the mother is having a boy.”

In “Game of Thrones,” the eggs — and eventually the dragons — belonged to their human mommy, Daenerys Targaryen, an ultra-popular character in the fantasy series based on George R.R. Martin’s multi-novel saga “A Song of Ice and Fire.”
The hit show concluded May 19. With nearly 20 million viewers, it reportedly was HBO’s most watched program in its history.
